There are many ways we can make a bathroom a safer and more practical space for the elderly and disabled. Wet rooms are a practical alternative to a traditional bathroom - completely waterproof, they are an easy to clean and contemporary space with no steps or obstructions. Or we can fit shower cubicles with the tray let into the floor for a no-step access. Walk-in baths are tall, tub-style baths allowing you to take a soothing bath, or a sitting shower. Full length walk-in baths with doors provide easy access to and from the bath. We also fit shower toilets, providing independence and dignity, with added benefits of improved personal hygiene, reduced risk of infection and intervention by carers.

A great new bathroom!

In May 2015 we became urgently in need of a new bathroom as my motor neurone disease had deteriorated quickly. We were recommended to SCBS by the local NHS authority. They immediately responded with help and advice and within a few weeks we had a great new bathroom including a new Clos-O-Mat lavatory. They did an excellent job and saved the day. Innovation and value for money!

In 2010 SCBS redesigned and rebuilt our upstairs bathroom and separate WC, and turned our small downstairs WC into an amazing walk-in shower room. We commissioned a complete refurbishment of our bathroom. The work was undertaken by SCBS Ltd. They're hard-working and fast, but spending time and care where haste might jeopardise the quality of the end result.
