In May 2015 we became urgently in need of a new bathroom as my motor neurone disease had deteriorated quickly.  We were recommended to SCBS by the local NHS authority. They immediately responded with help and advice and within a few weeks we had a great new bathroom including a new Clos-O-Mat lavatory. They did an excellent job and saved the day. In 2010 SCBS redesigned and rebuilt our upstairs bathroom and separate WC, and turned our small downstairs WC into an amazing walk-in shower room. No one else came close to SCBS in their design input, ability to innovate and value for money. We would thoroughly recommend SCBS, and hope to use them again for more projects.

SCBS Ltd carried out a total kitchen renovation for us in October 2011. They were involved in the planning, stripping out and removal of the old kitchen, installation of plumbing, electrics, tiling and installation of new units and appliances. They helped us to liaise with other contractors and suppliers. The team was very thorough, efficient and speedy, and polite and courteous throughout. We would have no hesitation in recommending them.

The SCBS team were excellent on our project – a substantial extension and external and internal modifications to adapt our house for our wheelchair-bound son, and provide extra space for our able-bodied son. The workmanship was good throughout (the brickwork was particularly good!), the team was friendly and considerate and there was no shifty business about price – we got what we paid for, and when we asked for more during the project it was done at a sensible and value for money price. The team repeatedly demonstrated their knowledge of the needs and potential solutions for disabled living. We have no hesitation in recommending SCBS for both general building work and especially disability adaptations.

We commissioned a complete refurbishment of our bathroom. The work was undertaken by SCBS Ltd. They're hard-working and fast, but spending time and care where haste might jeopardise the quality of the end result. Throughout the work we were consulted when choices were to be made, and kept informed at all stages. The quality of the work is second to none that we have seen. We are delighted with the bathroom that SCBS made for us; the result they achieved would grace the pages of any life-style magazine. I have no hesitation in recommending them to you.
